How and or where did you meet?
We met online through Facebook dating in March 2021. He immediately started talking to me and I realized we had been on a couple dates about 4 years prior. Young immaturity and allowing our careers to consume our lives got in our way…we were meant to be together but both had some growing up to do and life lessons to learn. Our first date was walking the trails at the OC and the rest is history!
How did you get proposed to?
Michael proposed on the trails at the OC where we had our first date. There was another couple hanging around where we were walking and I joked they were ruining our romantic walk…little did I know Michael planned to make it the most memorable walk by proposing!
Where did you get married?
We got married at The Barn at Stone Valley Plantation. The venue has a gorgeous open-air ceremony barn and a separate barn for the reception. Lacey is the owner and she does all the decorations and is a helping hand throughout the whole day!
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
The first-look before the ceremony. It was such a special moment since I had kept the dress hidden from him for over a year and he had no idea what to expect.

Describe your dress!
My dress was a Stella York crepe and lace mermaid gown that I purchased during the 2023 sample sale.
What was your experience like at Normans Bridal?
I had an amazing experience! I had went to one bridal shop prior and had felt pressured to purchase a gown that I didn’t fully like how it fit and would need major alterations. My consultant pulled the Stella York gown for me even though it wasn’t what I had described as wanting. It fit amazingly then, and after I had to get it altered due t
o losing about 35 lbs before our wedding.
