Alex and Jordan’s Rainy Day Wedding

Alex and I met sophomore year of high school and he still tells me how he knew right away that I was the one for him. I, on the other hand, took a little more time to figure it out. We were best friends all through school and college, before I finally came to my senses. We dated for a couple years and then got engaged.

I was so excited to plan our wedding; I’m a natural planner, so I wasn’t afraid of organizing, designing and managing all of the little details. As much as I enjoyed the whole process, if there was anything I would do again, it would be wedding dress shopping because I loved it so much! My experience at Norman’s was the best, everyone was so attentive and made sure to listen to what I wanted without rushing me in and out. I tried on several dresses, but ended up going back to the third dress that I had tried, I simply did not want to take it off! Everyone at Norman’s made sure I was confident in my dress and made sure I was happy throughout the whole process. I was so pleased with my wedding dress, we ended up getting some of my bridesmaid dresses there as well.

We got married on September 16th at Cedar Lake Cellars in Wright City, Missouri. Despite the rain, it was the absolute best day of our lives. I’m so glad I had my dream dress and that I got to share the day with all the people I love!
