How and or where did you meet?
We met sophomore year of high school. We had culinary arts class and history together.
How did you get proposed to?
He proposed to me Christmas morning 2021. I opened my gift, and it was and ornament that said, “will you marry me” and when I looked up, he was on his knee with a ring in his hand.
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
Walking into the ceremony and seeing my fiancé in his suit and all the people that were there to share our special day. I felt so happy it brought tears to my eyes.
What vendors did you use at your wedding?
Our wedding was at the Savoy Ballroom, photographer was my cousin @isaacmartin_photography, and we used Lillee’s catering for our dinner, and it was delicious. EMJ DJ was the DJ, also did a great job. My Sweet Lady Bakery made our cake.
What was your experience like at Normans Bridal?
I was nervous, it was my first dress shopping experience, and it ended up going really well. I didn’t feel like being plus size was an issue and I found a few dresses that were beautiful and ultimately found the one.
