How and or where did you meet?
We worked together,& began hanging out.
How did you get proposed to?
It was Christmas of 2022 and both our parents were invited to our house for Christmas. Every thing was decorated & everyone was getting along. The very last present under the Christmas tree was to me from Jacob and I opened it up & it was a box. Then Jacob took the box from me on his knee and asked me to marry him! I said yes and he opened the box and put the ring on my finger.
Where did you get married?
My parents house! We built a deck for my wedding with a pergola. It was their mostly finished house they are about to move into.
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
How my dress made me feel beautiful. How amazing it was for family and friends to share our love story, and to just see that Jacob and I are simply meant to be.
What vendors did you use at your wedding?
We did it all ourselves.
Describe your dress!
Ballgown, sweetheart fold over neckline, long train, buttons all the way down the train. Ivory color, simple, modern, classic. Perfect with the belt with sparkles and the floral veil.
What was your experience like at Normans Bridal?
I called for an appointment & they said they had one, so we came. When we walked in, we came from an event for farmstead so I know we looked a hot mess, but we got Katie J and she was so awesome! I thought that me saying my budget was $1,000 max I would be treated different, but she was very accommodating, didn’t treat me any different from a bride with an unlimited budget. I tried on many dresses and I got to look in the mirror like I see on bride shows on TV. It was amazing. I found my dream dress, & I even had omg tears like on TV knowing that it’s my dream dress. I would 100% recommend this place for brides!!
