How and or where did you meet?
We met at the dog park. We each had a dog and would go at the same time each day after work. Eventually, he had decided to ask me on a date, but I had to stop going for a while because my dog had surgery. Wint kept going each day at the same time for two weeks until I came back and he could ask me.
How did you get proposed to?
Wint proposed on our back porch (our favorite spot). It was simple, just the two of us. Afterward, we kept the news to ourselves for a day just to soak it in.
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
Honestly, my wedding day was everything I had imagined, so choosing one favorite is hard. I have two that come to mind. First, it was so special to have my husband’s father officiate our wedding. Hearing the way he spoke about love and commitment while looking into Wint’s eyes and holding his hands was beautiful.
Second, dancing with my friends and family was amazing. Wint and I love to dance, so getting to spend some time really celebrating with the people we love most was magical.

What was your experience like at Normans Bridal?
I had a really great experience at Normans. When I was in high school, I had gotten many prom dresses with them and wanted to see if they had my wedding dress, too. My appointment was summer of 2020, so covid was a challenge, but Normans really worked to make sure we had a private space to go. Both of my grandmas were able to come with me dress shopping and that is something I know was really special for them, too. I’m glad we had a private area to go into because one of my grandmas was very nervous about leaving her house.
We found my dress and everything was smooth sailing.
