How and or where did you meet?
I joined the Army in 2013 to go to the 1138th MP Company in 2014. I grew to become good friends with one of the guys in my unit and after spending 3 weeks together on an SED, he asked me on a date. He took me to see the Russian nutcracker at the Gilloz as he knew i loved ballet. It was the most romantic and memorable first date I had been on.
How did you get proposed to?
My Fiance and I went to NYC to see Anastasia on Broadway. We toured the beautiful city all day and ended our afternoon visiting Times Square. Once we got to the middle of Times Square Johnny asked a guy to take our picture. When taking out picture he pulled out the ring and got down on one knee in front of everyone. I was so surprised I cried, but i said yes with no hesitation. The whole crowd surrounding Times Square clapped for us and i felt as if time stopped in that moment. It was the most memorable moment of our whole trip.
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
I don’t have just one. I love reliving that day in my mind and through our wedding video. One of my favorite memories is the moment i came around the corner to walk down the aisle, I was beyond happy to see the love of my life waiting for me. The happiness i saw in his eyes as he saw me coming down the aisle. The tears of happiness as I knew i was finally getting to become the wife of my best friend. My second is the moment my father saw me for the first time in my wedding dress. The absolute pure joy in his reaction made me so unbelievably happy.

Normans Bridal Experience:
Amazing! We came in October for the Dash for the sale and I brought my best friend and sister. One would grab dresses while the other was the other was putting one on me. The first dress I tried on was “the One” and then i tried on a couple more only to confirm the first one is the one I fell in love with. I tried on the dress again and one of the sales girls noticed and brought me out in front of the big mirror to confirm that i loved it even more. It was a great moment to say yes to the dress 🙂
