How and or where did you meet?
We met in 2013, my brother knew friends that knew my husband and he set us up. I didn’t really have intentions to meet my husband at first…haha…. But after several tries of my husband trying his best, I gave him a chance and the rest was history.
How did you get proposed to?
My husband expressed his feelings about marrying me, but I had mixed feelings about it because I made promises to my grandmother that I no longer could keep as she passed when I was in high school. He convinced me that she would want me to be happy and live happy, so I said yes August 2013.
Where did you get married?
We originally Eloped November 2013, 7 months into our relationship with a few family members and 1 friend. Had a big wedding on our 10th wedding anniversary November 2023 at The Veranda.
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
Seeing my dad’s face at the first look and my husband crying while I walked down the aisle.
What vendors did you use at your wedding?
We downloaded an app called POV- Disposable Camera and printed off the QR code for all of our guests to scan with their phone camera, and it turns their phone into the disposable camera. After the ceremony, we got to view all the pictures everyone took throughout the day/night.
Describe your dress!
It was a rustic style, it was an ivory white long dress with a train and had flowers crocheted like material and a tank top strap with tassels along the bottom fringe and straps fringe.
What was your experience like at Normans Bridal?
The girls was amazing. Emily I believe, is who helped me pick my dress out and she did amazing job.
