How and or where did you meet?
We met in 2014, I was working at the Buckle and he would come in to talk to his friend I worked with. We talked a little bit, but it never really went anywhere. Then we reconnected in 2015 when he ran into me. He handed me his phone and said, “Put your number in,” and the rest is history!
How did you get proposed to?
He took me to Nashville for my birthday in February 2022. He had an entire plan of proposing to me on a bridge that overlooked the city, but my car window ended up getting smashed the night before, so it delayed it. And by a miracle he ended up proposing on Jason Aldean’s Rooftop Bar, which is fitting for us because we love Morgan Wallen! (His song Broadway Girls mentions “Met her down at Aldeans!”)
Where did you get married?
We got married at the BEAUTIFUL place in Joplin, MO called The Sterling! It was absolutely perfect! A beautiful modern style building with a darker setting inside. It fit our vibe perfectly.
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
I loved getting to see the man that I love, who before meeting me, never wanted to be married. I watched break down into tears when he saw me on our first look. It showed me how loving someone can change your entire outlook on this life. It was such an indescribable feeling and it will be a memory I hold on to in this life and the next.
What vendors did you use at your wedding?
We actually had friends and family and the bridal party help with all of it. My bridesmaids helped me make all the decor, bouquets, and food. And the groomsman stepped in and helped decorate while I was upstairs getting ready.

Describe your dress!
My dress couldn’t have been more perfect. It was a strapless sweetheart neckline ball gown. It was covered in “diamonds” and sparkled like a dream! I couldn’t have picked a more perfect dress.
What was your experience like at Normans Bridal?
They were amazing! They make you feel so special and so welcomed. They listen to everything you ask for and they are so helpful. It really helps when you have no idea what you’re getting yourself into when there are endless options! I will forever recommend anyone I know to go there!
