Our Wedding Day truly was the best day of our lives. I look back on every tiny detail, and it was all perfect. We had countless people tell us it was the best wedding they’d ever attended and that the way the wedding felt to them was what made it especially memorable. I wish I could attribute the evening’s flawlessness to hours on the phone with a planner, or to relaxing nights by the fire with my iPad, Pinterest and a glass of wine but none of it was that glamorous. We winged it. Justin and I had no interest in themes, color choices or style. We knew what we liked and everything came together beautifully- it was literally effortless. I came to Norman’s first to look for a dress, and trying to keep my options open I ventured out to another store. It was so depressing in comparison to my experience with Norman’s, I spent less than five minutes in there and left. The very next weekend I attended the Norman’s designer showcase where I met the designer of my dress and ended up purchasing the fourth one I tried on- it was a dream day… They know exactly what they’re doing and it was so easy and fun. My advice is don’t stress, DON’T obsess. Your wedding isn’t a show, it’s a union of families and friends and you and your partner are the core of it.
