How and or where did you meet?
Well, he saw me while I was floating and he was canoeing at Current River in Doniphan, Mo. I didn’t even know he existed until later that evening someone had told me he was asking for my phone number. We met in person a few days later.
How did you get proposed to?
I was proposed to at Big Springs in Van Buren, MO. We had previously gone to eat at a little restaurant about 20 miles from there and it was getting dark, and he had asked if I wanted to go look at the spring and I said no, but he sped there anyways, and we walked up and looked at the water. We were there for about five minutes until I said okay lets go and started walking back to the truck, I turned back around, and he had shoved the ring box down in his sock and boot and had been walking around like that all evening, he said he was glad to finally get that out of there.
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
Getting to see family I hadn’t seen in some time.
