How and or where did you meet?
I was single and very happy to be so. For my birthday, my best friend wanted to take me on a trip, since Boston is my favorite city, that’s where we went.
We went to church on Sunday, and Denis talked to me briefly. I instantly liked him but didn’t think much of it since we lived so far apart and didn’t even know each other. That night, we talked for several hours. He messaged me through social media the next day and our conversations continued to grow longer until we started talking on the phone, and finally he came to visit me.
How did you get proposed to?
I visited Denis in Boston for his family’s reunion. He took me out on hike of our favorite trail, which leads to a beautiful scenic outlook of Boston. I had turned my back to him to admire the view, and when I turned around, he was kneeling on the ground with the ring.
Where did you get married?
We got married at my church in Ash Grove, Missouri. The reception was at the beautiful Savoy historic ballroom in Springfield.
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
There was a moment of calm right before I walked down the aisle. Then, I saw him as the doors opened and he started to tear up as I walked down the aisle.

Describe your dress!
My dress was a gorgeous white A-line with a lace, bead embellished bodice and long lace sleeves.
What was your experience like at Normans Bridal?
Everyone was so friendly and made me feel very comfortable! The staff were all extremely helpful in assisting me with finding my perfect dress!
