How and or where did you meet?
We met in Chico, CA while we were both working a concert at a venue there. Everyone working the event would go out afterwards. It was a three day concert date, and him and I would both spend the “afterparty” chatting and getting to know each other. We started dating shortly after that.
How did you get proposed to?
We were spending Thanksgiving week with his best friends family in California. He said he was going to go on a run and then shopping with his best friend to prepare for thanksgiving coming up. I decided to stay back and relax. He told me that he would be back in the early afternoon and that we should go on a date night. He came home and we went to one of favorite spots by the beach and he said “my mom is asking for sunset photos so we’ll stop by the lookout point and send them to her”. I didn’t think anything of it because my mother in law always asks for sunset photos when we are by the water. I always carry a tripod so we brought it to the lookout point and he had me looking at the sunset and next thing I know he is in one knee proposing. It happened right as the sun was setting down on us. So beautiful and unforgettable. We then went and got tacos and margaritas because that is our favorite thing to do.
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
This is so hard to pick, I loved dancing with everyone we loved and cared about. Being able to share that special day in celebration is the best gift we could have received.
