How and or where did you meet?
We did a work/ faith formation program through a college group called FOCUS in Acadia National Park in Maine, the summer of 2021. At the end of the summer he asked me on a date, and then we dated long distance until we were married.
How did you get proposed to?
We went hiking at Ha Ha Tonka State Park. At the end of the hike he popped the question and then we had a picnic!
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
Walking down the isle, I felt like I was floating! I also loved my dad’s speech (even though I barely remember it) and having all my friends and family there.
What vendors did you use at your wedding?
Lorraine Marie Photography, based in the Dallas TX area, but travelled up to MO. She did amazingly!!
We used the church hall for our venue, my sisters made the cake, my uncle smoked the meat, and the Knights of Columbus served the food. Our friends, family, and church members really blessed us.
What was your experience like at Normans Bridal?
Super helpful and happy. The ladies helping us were amazing and involved, but also stayed back and let me have the moment with my family that was with me.
