Sarah and Jason’s Tuscan Hill Wedding 5~21~22

How and or where did you meet?
My childhood best friend was moving in with her new husband and I was there to help. Her husband just so happened to be Jason’s brother. We began being invited over to their house regularly for card games and were partners. Eventually we started dating.

How did you get proposed to?
Jason took me on a trip to Kansas City for my 21st birthday. He planned a fancy dinner at Bristol in the Power and Light District and had our family and friends there. He proposed at dinner.

What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
My favorite memory was our ceremony and vows. Jason is very stoic and was very against crying. When I walked down the aisle he was bawling, and his vows were some of the most heartfelt words I’ve heard him say. The day had a lot of things go wrong, but his words of love and commitment made everything worth it.

What vendors did you use at your wedding?
Venue: Tuscan Hill
Flowers: Wickman Gardens
Photography: Erica Torgeson Photography
Hair: Estrada’s Haven
Alterations: Coco Couture

What was your experience like at Normans Bridal?
Amazing! My stylist helped me pick dresses based on my own wants and was very supportive of me. There were times where a specific family member was saying some hurtful things about the low cut of the bust or that I shouldn’t wear my glasses and such. My stylist supported me in ignoring those comments and getting what I wanted in my dress. I was also given a great recommendation for my alterations.
