We met several years ago but didn’t become “we” or “us” until 2021.
How did you get proposed to?
He asked me if I had plans for the rest of my life
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
I woke up deathly sick that day. . . TBI’s are no joke my friends! The entire day was a whirlwind, and I was basically crawling through mud but then our photographer brought me into the chapel for our first look. The look on his face at that moment was priceless. I started feeling better shortly after the receiving line.
What vendors did you use at your wedding?
Complete Weddings and Events handled DJ and photography services.
Allison Coonrod of Coondog Cakes made our cake. (She is no longer making cakes)
Our venue was Top of the Rock, Chapel of the Ozarks and our Erin Schroeder was our onsite wedding coordinator. Shannon’s Floral handled our flowers.
Rochelle McBrayer at Elegant Linens and rentals handled the linens including napkins and table linens.
Coco Couture handled alterations
Celebrity Limo was our Limo Service in a Cruella Deville type Car
What was your experience like at Normans Bridal?
Patty Smulsky. . . Patty is a rockstar. As an older bride I was nervous about trying on dresses. I expressed this to Patty on the phone when confirming my appointment and she was so kind, reassuring me and promising to help me. When we walked in that day, literally one year ago today, she was the first person I saw, and she already had a selection for me to try. I knew it was my dress the minute I tried it on.
