How and or where did you meet?
Tanner and I met on the track team at Wichita State University. Our first interaction was me handing the baton off to Tanner in a mixed 4x400m relay. We talked a little after the race and joked about our hamstrings and butts burning so bad. That was the beginning of our friendship which later grew into a romantic relationship. We got along so well and had so much in common.
How did you get proposed to?
We were in Kansas City, Missouri to attend the LDS temple there. I was doing some service in the temple and Tanner was there to support me and my family. He proposed right outside of the temple afterwards in front of my parents. He pretended to tie his shoe while we were taking a picture in front of the temple and pulled out the ring. It was perfect.

Eberly Farm in Wichita Kansas
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
There was a moment Tanner and I had together right after the ceremony, just him in I in the Bride’s room. It was great to just be with him and process that we tied the know together.

Describe your dress!
My dress was simple, fitted, and ivory. I added decorative sheer long sleeves that made my dress my dream dress.
What was your experience like at Normans Bridal?
Great! So many options and great employees who listen to what you want and aren’t trying to sell the most expensive dress.
