Normans Bridal is a family owned business run by a mother/daughter duo. Brenda started Normans Bridal in 1980 alongside her husband. Liz joined the family business in 2008. For 44 years the Normans Family has been dedicated to offering friendly and professional service alongside top quality designers.
Normans Bridal is the home of the largest selection in Springfield, with hundreds of wedding dresses to choose from in a stylish and upbeat setting. Normans has many styles including long sleeve wedding dresses, boho dresses, beach wedding dresses, sleek and modern wedding dresses and many more. Our handpicked collection includes sizes 4-30 in styles as unique as each of our brides. Some of our favorite looks for the season include classic and clean styles as well as a hint of color.

My experience was absolutely phenomenal – better than I could have imagined. I tried on 3 dresses total and cried when I put what ended up being my wedding dress on. My stylist basically read my mind. She was so sweet and made the entire time we were there so comfortable. The store is gorgeous and I felt so cared for. I would go back to Norman’s a thousand times over.
My experience at Norman’s was phenomenal. I felt so at home from the minute that I walked in the door. I tried on 3 dresses total and when I put my wedding dress on, I knew instantly it was the one. There were tears, it was the moment you dream about as a little girl. I couldn’t have asked for more in my dress shopping experience. My stylist was absolutely incredible – she basically read my mind and she felt like a friend from the moment I met her. The store was stunning and looked like a fairytale. I wouldn’t have changed a single thing about that afternoon.

Normans Bridal was incredible to work with! I went in with ideas of what I wanted but after trying many dresses on I just wasn’t feeling like a bride. My stylists suggested we try something different and after hearing about my vision for the wedding day, she pulled a dress she thought I should give a shot. I was hesitant to try on a fitted dress because I was worried that it wouldn’t be flattering. As soon as I got the dress on, I knew it was the one. It fit like a glove and made me feel beautiful! I finally felt like I was actually getting married soon and it was in a dress I would have never picked for myself. All the ladies working were so kind and gave the highest compliments to make me feel my best. I left my appointment feeling excited and confident to wear my dress on the big day!
My experience at Normans was fantastic! Patty Smulski worked with me to find the perfect dress that truly reflected my personality and taste. She answered all of my questions, helped me pick a veil and even pointed me to an amazing seamstress who did my fitting. I would recommend Normans to any future bride!
Amazing! Patty was great, I told her about my poor experience at another shop and she turned the day around. She pulled three dresses for me only and knew exactly what I needed. She made me confident and beautiful.

I had visited 3 other bridal shops before I visited Normans. The first 3 shop were not very welcoming, and rushed me to pick a dress. Normans was the complete opposite! They were very welcoming to me and my party. The lady helping me was very responsive to what I liked and didn’t, and respected my budget. I came in open minded, but had one dress I saw on Normans Facebook page. I tried on a few dresses while they tracked down the dress from Facebook. I finally tried on the dress from Facebook and knew right away that it was my dream dress.
My experience at Normans Bridal was PERFECT!!!! They were so nice and helpful every step of the way. They took my vision and found the perfect gown for me. They helped me feel so beautiful and confident on my wedding day. I highly recommend Normans Bridal to any new bride
I was able to take my mom and mother in law to be there for the moment. I really liked that my stylist gave some advice and opinions on what I should try on. It helped me get to the perfect dress for me. One of my friends saw photos and said it was something that she hadn’t seen before. Things like that just make it feel a little more special.
I went in today with very little of idea what I wanted and Emily helped me find the perfect dress!!! She was so patient and kind! Thank you Norman’s bridal and Emily for helping me find my dress!
My favorite memory was our ceremony and vows. Jason is very stoic and was very against crying. When I walked down the aisle he was bawling, and his vows were some of the most heartfelt words I’ve heard him say. The day had a lot of things go wrong, but his words of love and commitment made everything worth it.
My experience was perfect honestly. The girls that helped me were so nice and helped me have fun and stay relaxed. Wouldn’t have changed a thing about it.

I had the most amazing experience!!! I really wasn’t sure what I was looking for, but my stylist was patient and willing to find something that I fell in love with – which is exactly what happened. We tried several dresses, and she took the parts that I loved and found my perfect dress! I still tell everyone that my dress was MAGICAL!!!
Patty Smulsky. . . Patty is a rockstar. As an older bride I was nervous about trying on dresses. I expressed this to Patty on the phone when confirming my appointment and she was so kind, reassuring me and promising to help me. When we walked in that day, literally one year ago today, she was the first person I saw and she already had a selection for me to try. I knew it was my dress the minute I tried it on.
