Meet the Staff
We are so lucky to have the most amazing staff! When you come in, you’ll see why.
Making your dreams and visions come to life is the reason we exist, and the reason we have continued to do so for 45 years. It has been such a blessing and a joy to grow up in our family-owned bridal business. We have celebrated with thousands of brides since opening in 1980. We pride ourselves in creating a once and a lifetime experience for every bride. We celebrate the moments and the experiences we create together.

What is your advice to brides?
My advice to all brides is to relax, have fun and make memories. It’s easy to get carried away with FOMO or the stress of other people’s opinions. Take time to reflect on you and your fiance’ and what your wedding day is all about. Just think of me as your fairy godmother. I’m just here to make your day even more perfect.
What makes you happiest?
I love spending time with my family, kayaking, watching my boys play baseball, gardening and traveling.
How long have you worked at Normans?
I’ve been with Normans since 2023.
What is your advice to brides?
Take a deep breath and listen to what YOU want- don’t let others cloud your vision. And if you need backup, I got you!
What makes you happiest?
My true joy is in performing aerial arts, getting food with friends, and cuddling with my dog.
How long have you worked at Normans?
Katie began working for Normans in the fall of 2012. She graduated from MSU with a degree in fashion designing and shortly after applied at Normans in hopes of sharing her knowledge and love of fashion with brides. Katie’s favorite bride moment is when the bride first realizes that she has found “the” dress. It all becomes so real at that moment.
What is your advice to brides?
My advice is to wear a little makeup, do your hair a little bit. It’ll let you feel more like you would on the day of your wedding instead of like any other day shopping. Bring a hair-tie! Just in case.
What makes you happiest?
Outside of making brides dreams come true Katie is involved in helping and teaching at her church. She loves spending time with her family and being the ‘best aunt’. Katie also enjoys geeking out at movies, reading books and doing craft projects.

What is your advice to brides?
My advice for our brides would be to remember to have fun and enjoy what is happening around you. Weddings come and go so quickly, and it can be easy to get caught up in all the planning. Take a second to breathe and soak it all in. This is the best time of your life, and we want you to feel beyond special while shopping for your wedding dress. You deserve it!
What makes you happiest?
My cat, Clarice, makes me happy! She is quite literally my tiny best friend, and I wouldn’t want to do life without her. :)

How long have you worked at Normans?
I just started! My first day was in July of 2025 and I'm excited to grow as a stylist :)
What is your advice to brides?
It can be so overwhelming trying to pick out a dress, especially when there are pretty dresses upon pretty dresses. What matters most isn't finding the prettiest dress, but finding the dress that you feel the most you in. That is the perfect dress for you.
What makes you happiest?
What makes me the happiest are the little things in life: walks in the park with my lab mix Penny, handpicked wildflowers, homecooked dinners with my husband, rainy days spent reading.
