How and or where did you meet?
Peyton and I met at Evangel University! Both being student-athletes, Peyton, football and me, basketball, we saw each other pretty often. We had our first official interaction one day at lunch when Peyton was with our mutual friend and realized he had to go because he forgot about class - in which I offered him my (terrible) leftovers. Peyton reached out later that day, not romantically, but we never stopped talking that day on and I guess the rest is history!
How did you get proposed to?
We spent the day apart, as I was at my sister's baby shower and Peyton was with his dad. His parents came into town so that his mom could come to the baby shower, (or so I originally thought!). After that, we went to dinner and said our goodbyes so they could "head home" to Oklahoma. Peyton told me the night before that he got someone to take pictures for us that night, which I was originally upset about because a girl has to prepare for that!! After dinner, we went to my parent's house in Walnut Grove, and got some pictures of us. For change of scenery, we went to a different field of my dad's, where when we walked around the wood line, I saw the cutest most thoughtful picnic set up in the middle of the field that our mom's had set up (when I thought his parents had headed home already). Our families were hidden until he got down on one knee. It was beautiful and so sweet!
Where did you get married?
We got married at Sparrow Lane in Willard, MO. It is the most beautiful and timeless venue!
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
My favorite part of the day was just being surrounded by both families and friends that have helped shaped who Peyton and I are as people. There were so many people there that saw us through many different phases of our lives and that was the most pure and sweetest thing about it! There will never be another time we will all be in a place of such joy like that, so it is a truly sweet memory!

Describe your dress!
My dress was so beautiful from head to toe!! It was tight fitted, beaded, laced, sparkly and just truly elegant. I loved it so much!
What was your experience like at Normans Bridal?
I had a great experience with Norman's Bridal, even when I had a slight scare, they assured me they would help get my dress right - and they did! I'm so thankful for their willingness to help!
