My fiancé, Soren, and I met at a college party in December of 2010 at Manchester University in Indiana. We started exclusively dating in December of 2012 after I had graduated. He proposed at my favorite restaurant, Club Soda, in December of 2014. They have live music on the weekends and my favorite band was playing that night. When Soren stepped on stage, I didn’t see it coming. I don’t remember his exact words due to the state of shock that I was experiencing, so I only remember four words “Will you marry me”. As soon as we were engaged, I knew exactly where I was going to get my wedding dress from. It is sort of a family tradition to go to Normans Bridal. My dad and his entire family are from Springfield, Missouri and even though I live over 500 miles away, I made the trip to Normans because my cousin and my sister got their dresses there. I love the way they treat you and the way they make you feel. Unlike chain dress shops, all of their dresses are unique – they even give you a personal, private dressing room and one attendant who is dedicated to helping you try on the dresses you choose. They find and bring you the styles you want in the price range you are looking for. The staff is exceptional. My dress had to be shipped since I live in Fort Wayne, IN – but it came in pristine condition and in a timely manner. I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The dress I chose was perfect for the setting of my venue. I felt like a princess all day. I was married at Marian Hills Farm, as seen on The Bachelor, in Fort Wayne, IN. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day and I wouldn’t have changed anything. My family chooses Normans Bridal because of the personal attention, unique selection and fair prices. I wouldn’t look anywhere else for a wedding gown. Photo Credit: Megan Allen, Studio 22 Photography, www.choosestudio22.com, Copyright 2016, All Rights Reserved
