Before Jacob and I began dating our families had become best friends. We spent tons of time together at sporting event and on family vacations. After years of friendship we decided that there was something more between us. We started dating and fell in love. A few years later our families were on vacation together in Colorado. Little did I know Jacob was planning on proposing. He took me dogsledding and we stopped to take some pictures. Jacob got down on one knee and asked me to marry him and I of course said yes!
When I started the process of finding a wedding dress, Norman’s was at the top of my list. My sister had a wonderful experience finding her prom dress at Norman’s and I was excited to have the same! I went in with a very specific vision of what I wanted my wedding dress to look like. I also brought 10 people with me. I knew it was going to be an uphill battle to find the perfect dress. Brenda was so patient and made sure that my voice was heard over all the other opinions. I ended up finding the most perfect dress and veil. Tears were shed all around.
Jacob and I got married in Seneca, MO at Amadeus Ranch on a beautiful spring day. Everyone loved the dress and I am so thankful for Norman’s.
