How and or where did you meet?
My husband and I met at my 16th birthday party. He wasn’t invited, but ended up showing up with one of my friends! My friend introduced us and it went on from there!
How did you get proposed to?
We were going to a small little place in our town to take pictures. I wanted to take some new pictures for quite some time and was finally able to do so since it was not raining that day. We were in the middle of taking pictures when he got down on one knee and opened the ring box. He continued to sit there on one knee with the ring box opened until I said, “Well are you gonna say it?,” and he had finally asked me to marry him. It was actually quite comical!
Where did you get married?
Our whole plan was to get married at a venue in the town where we live. We planned to have it there as soon as we got engaged because our family friend had owned it and it was a new venue that was just getting ready to open, but that did not go as planned. Our venue canceled on us the morning of our wedding day and we ended up having to put it together in a small church in our home town. Lots of tears were shed that day and not a lot of happy ones!
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
Despite everything we went through that day, my favorite memory was not only marrying my best friend, but being able to see the love and support we had that day. We had so many family and friends come together to make our day as special as possible! It wasn’t the day we had imagined, but I still got to marry the love of my life.
What vendors did you use at your wedding?
We had Castellos’s cater for food and our photographer was WG Creative Studio!
Describe your dress!
My dress was very simple yet so elegant! It was a v cut and had an open back with flowy sleeves! I knew I wanted something comfy yet beautiful, and my dress was just what I had imagined!
What was your experience like at Normans Bridal?
My experience was so amazing! They were so patient with me as I didn’t really know what I wanted! I only came out in 3 dresses and as soon as I tried on my dress I knew it was the one!
