How and or where did you meet?
I had just moved to Kansas City and a sweet couple invited me to their wedding. Tim, who was born and raised in Springfield, had gone to school with the groom and was also invited to the wedding. I was nervous because I only knew a couple people, so naturally I went to the donut bar and started stuffing my face with a donut. That was when Tim first locked eyes on me and he claims that is when he knew I was the one!
How did you get proposed to?
I am originally from Alabama (where my family lives) and my dad had passed away a few years back. It would have been their 25 year anniversary, so Tim and I road tripped to see my mom. I had taken him there once while we were dating, and ever since then he had it all planned out - he wanted to propose at this larger boulder that sat at the top of my family's hilly backyard. It was my dad's quiet spot, and that was his way of honoring him. He took me up there and there were flowers, candles, and a beautifully letter, and next thing I knew he was on one knee!
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
Locking eyes with Tim while walking down the aisle with my mom will forever be my favorite memory. I knew my dad's presence was there, smiling proudly along with the rest of our friends and family. Our story had begun with a wedding, so getting to start a new chapter with our own wedding was very special.

What was your experience like at Normans Bridal?
My experience at Norman's Bridal exceeded all of my expectations. I came with my mom, mother-in-law, and best friend, and we had such a great time. I felt like I was in "Say Yes to the Dress" when I walked out of the curtain wearing what became THE dress and we all cried. I had only tried on a few dresses, and before I even put it on I knew. Thank you Norman's Bridal!
