My husband, Sam, and I first saw each other at a cafe where I was waitressing at the time but were not officially introduced until months later by some mutual friends. I had known him for less than a week when I realized he was the man I was going to marry. We started dating not long after we met and quickly fell in love. Almost 2 years later, 2 days before Christmas, Sam proposed and I said YES. Naturally the first things I did were look for a photographer & a dress. After many, many days, appointments, and hours worth of shopping trips to bridal & formal shops, we found "the dress" at Norman's Bridal in Lebanon. The dress was exactly everything I said I did not want. But the girl helping me, Gina (who was awesome), showed me the dress anyways. Once I got it on I could see it was PERFECT. Three minutes later I had a beautiful veil to go with it. Sam and I got married on July 2, 2016. We had an outdoor wedding. It poured for 3 days straight that week but the rain stopped just an hour & a half before the wedding and everything turned out beautiful. As my dad was walking me up the isle I could feel the mud squishing up around my shoes and I just cringed because I thought my dress was getting sooo dirty. But to my relief there was not a single spot on it at the end of the day. I got to wear my dress again just 2 week later when Sam and I were asked to modal as a fake bride & groom for a wedding planner that was putting together a showcase for her business. It's so fun looking back at the pictures from my that shoot and especially the wedding. Thanks for sharing our story, Norman's!
