How and or where did you meet?
We met through our friend group, we knew each other since high school but we were both in separate relationships.
How did you get proposed to?
Nathan messaged me on a Friday (date night) and wanted to go out to eat and watch the sunset. It was a perfect day so we wanted to be outside. We decided to go to the Lake of the Ozarks, he suggested before we go to dinner we go walk around Ha Ha Tonka, this was a place we first went for one of our first dates together. Me being stubborn and hangry, I was hesitant because I wanted to EAT! But I obliged and we started to walk up to this lookout point and as we were walking up I noticed flowers were laid out on the railing and my first thought was " a little kid picked flowers and laid them up here" well as I was turning around to tell Nathan this he was pulling a ring out of his boot and getting down on one knee. Safe to say I was shocked, it was perfectly us in every way. And my sister and his sister was hiding in the background taking pictures and videotaping it the whole time. I'm so thankful I can remember the day with videos and pictures forever.
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
My favorite memory would have to be the first look, we had just read our letters we wrote to one another and I bawled. Who knew he was such a writer! I sure didn't, but our first look was outside it was windy and cold but none of that mattered when I got to see him for the first time. I think your wedding day is so built up, and can be a bit stressful so when you get to see your groom for the first time it all fades away. He looked so handsome and it was nice to just have a moment together before everything started.

What was your experience like at Normans Bridal?
It was perfect, I've been there multiple times for prom in the past and going there for my wedding dress was no question. This was the only place I planned to go and I knew I would find my dress there. I probably tried on 10 dresses and the last dress she brought in all she had to do was unzip it, and I knew it was the one. I only needed to see it to know, I tried it on and the water works started and I said yes to the dress!
