Mason and I met our senior year of high school. My aunt and uncle have known Mason’s parents for forever but never thought to introduce us since I’m from Missouri and Mason lived in Arizona. Our paths finally crossed December 2015 on a ski trip that my family had been taking for a few years. Some family members dropped out my aunt invited Mason’s family! We connected right off the bat- we both love Jesus and love hiking, “shredding the gnar,” sports, and being with our families! We remained in contact after the ski trip and made several weekend visits via plane ride. Mason flew to Missouri to go to my senior prom then shortly after this we committed to running collegiant track and playing football in KC, MO.
*Flash forward* Our families went on our ski trip March 2017 where Mas popped the question in front of all of the people we love the most in the world! We got married May 2018 in Arizona!
