Austin and I met in the spring of 2010 when we were both chosen to help decorate for prom the day before the dance. We were assigned to the same task, I burnt his finger with a hot glue gun, and that was it! But honestly, we were just too naive kids in love. I moved to Lebanon from Kansas City and said I would NEVER date a country boy, and Austin was worried I might be too “city” for him. It’s funny how things work out! We dated for almost two years in high school, but when Austin went off to College at CofO we went our separate ways. I went to college at Missouri Southern a year later so we didn’t see each other a lot during our college years except for running into each other at church when we were both home from school on holiday breaks. After graduation Austin moved to Springfield and started working at a bank and I moved back to KC to be a dental hygienist. Flash forward to spring of 2016 Austin needed a date for a fundraiser gala, and he decided to ask me. It didn’t take long after that to realize we were still those same kids that were in love back in high school we had both just done some much needed maturing on our own. Austin and I got engaged under the twinkling of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France on April 17, 2017 and we were married November 18, 2017 in Camdenton, MO at the Community Christian Church, reception following at The Exchange.
Our photographer was Kelsi Kliethermes, and she is AMAZING!
