How or when did you meet?
In April 2017, Joe had recently been stationed in Jacksonville, FL with the Army Corps of Engineers. We met on a dating app called Bumble, but our first date was at a local BBQ restaurant. Our date went so well, we went next door for dessert. We had both restaurants cater our wedding 2 years later!
How did you get proposed to?
Joe was stationed at Ft. Leonardwood. He took me to a picturesque portion of the Big Piney River on base for a date, but ended up proposing! There were no hidden cameras or needing to get my nails done; the proposal was truly about "us" and our future together.
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
Joe and I practiced a choreographed first dance for several months leading up to the wedding. While we were excited to perform for our family and friends, we took a minute alone after the ceremony/pictures to practice it one final time. It was our only alone time the entire wedding day and very special to have those moments together (and sneakily captured by our photographer!).

What was your experience like at Normans Bridal?
Wonderful! Unfortunately, I came to Norman's in a pinch. My original ceremony dress was butchered by the seamstress. I came to Normans just 5 short months prior to the wedding and found the most beautiful dress! I was able to take a floor model home with me that day. My stylist knew my tastes and pulled perfect dresses to try on.
