How and or where did you meet?
My husband and I met at this work! He works for a show in Branson and I was an audience member at one of his show's. Through mutual friends, we kind of knew who each other were and he messaged me on Facebook after his show and the rest is history!
How did you get proposed to?
What I thought was our annual Disney World trip with my boyfriend ended up being an exciting proposal trip with our best friends and family. The day of the proposal, we ventured to Magic Kingdom. Breakfast reservations at our favorite restaurant, a new pair of Minnie Mouse ears, and my husband's first venture on "It's a Small World" made this day all the more perfect. We had decided to plan dinner early so that we could find the perfect seat for the "Happily Ever After" firework show that night. This was my absolute #1 thing to see while we were there, so it was important to get the best seat. While at dinner, Rob told me that we weren't watching the fireworks at the park, but instead he had a surprise for me and explained that we were going to watch the fireworks somewhere else.
We finished dinner, left the Magic Kingdom, and headed to the Contemporary Resort where our parents and close friends were waiting for us. This was a HUGE surprise to me as I had no idea that anyone was there, while Rob had planned for them to be there all along. We all loaded up on a pontoon and headed out to the Seven Seas Lagoon to get the perfect spot for the fireworks. Once the show started, Rob asked the question, perfectly timing my answer to the fireworks so once I said yes, fireworks lit up the night sky. It still is my favorite story to this day!
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
The first looks! I did a first look with my dad and one with my husband and it was the most memorable thing ever! (that and the wind, oh and I didn't have a voice on my wedding day. I had Laryngitis!)
