How and or where did you meet?
We grew up right down the road from each other but didn’t connect until later on in life in college when Rhett reached out to me.
How did you get proposed to?
Rhett proposed on a cliff overlooking Ha Ha Tonka. It was absolutely beautiful, and he had one of my best friends who is a photographer, Cheyenne Bell, there to capture our special moment. That evening we got to celebrate with all our friends and family at Old Kinderhook.
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
One of the most memorable moments from our wedding day was the cake smash… our DJ Brock convinced us to do a cake jar competition in place of the dollar dance. The rules were whoever has the most money in their jar at the end of the night, bride or groom, gets to smash cake in the others face. Mind you, the only way he got me to agree was because he told me that 99% of the time the bride wins. And this would have held true, but my husband had his groomsmen switch the jars when we left to take pictures. The owners of the venue told me I was the first bride they have ever watched take cake to the face at their venue!

What was your experience like at Normans Bridal?
My experience was amazing. All of my prom and formal dresses have come from Normans. Both my mom and aunt got their formal and wedding dresses at Normans, so I knew my wedding dress had to come from Normans. We are a Normans family!
