Will and I have known each other for 14 years. We grew up in the same hometown and had a few mutual friends. Our friendship grew quite closely over time but there was never anything more. Six years ago when I moved to Springfield, he had introduced me to his weekly gaming group. We had begun spending even more time together sharing in our love for board and card games, and comics. A year later, we started dating, and I got him to finally move up here. Three years into our relationship, he asked me out to dinner. Before dinner, we had met up at the Comic Cave, where he had a custom made proposal comic and custom designed Iron Man arc reactor ring. With a full year and half of planning, we had a comic book themed wedding. A lot of our decorations, bouquets, and boutonnieres were hand crafted with comics. Norman's was a wonderful place to visit for my dress. I had searched for a high low dress online for awhile but gave up on that idea as there weren't many options available anywhere. When my stylist mentioned they had one, I was excited to try it on. It was the one! The ladies there were so sweet & the atmosphere was beyond pleasant. May 7th, 2016, Will & I said our I Do's at 319 Event Center downtown Springfield, MO with 150 of our close family and friends to celebrate.
